Protection and Promotion of Natural Resource Management in the CHT (Phase-3)

The Protection and Promotion of Natural Resource Management (Phase-3) project strengthened community-based natural resource management by promoting organic farming, sustainable agro-practices, and diversified livelihoods. Through eco-friendly agricultural interventions and improved water systems, TUS enhanced food security, supported women’s economic participation, and preserved vital forest and stream ecosystems across indigenous communities in the CHT.

Protection and Promotion of Natural Resource Management in the CHT (Phase-4)

The Protection and Promotion of Natural Resource Management (Phase-4) project aimed to enhance community resilience and sustainable natural resource management in remote CHT villages. Through skill-building, input support, and promotion of traditional agro-forestry practices, the initiative improved livelihoods, strengthened social ownership over resources, and empowered communities to manage their environment using indigenous knowledge and collaboration with local institutions.

Chittagong Hill Tracts Watershed Co-Management Activity (CHTWCA) in Mong Circle Areas

The CHTWCA project empowered rural communities in the Mong Circle to sustainably manage natural resources, enhance livelihoods, and protect the environment. Through collaboration with traditional leaders and local institutions, it promoted gender equity, income generation, and conservation of Village Common Forests, benefiting over 7,000 people across six upazilas in Khagrachari District.
