On 13 September 2026, Trinamul Unnayan Sangstha (TUS) conducted a project orientation session for the newly recruited staff of the project titled “Flood Emergency Response in Bangladesh (FERB) 2026.” The session provided the new staff with an overview of the project, including its objectives, key interventions, implementation approach, and expected results.
Trinamul Unnayan Sangstha (TUS), with technical support from HEKS/EPER Bangladesh and financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), is implementing the “Flood Emergency Response in Bangladesh (FERB) 2026” project from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 in Khagrachari Sadar, Mahalchari, and Dighinala Upazilas of Khagrachari Hill District.
The project aims to support communities affected by the recent floods, with a particular focus on livelihood recovery, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and emergency shelter assistance. Through these interventions, the project will contribute to restoring essential services, improving the living conditions of flood-affected households, and strengthening their recovery and resilience.
